Privacy policy

SkinPal Creators is the creator program of SkinPal AI. This policy covers this website, creators.skinpalai.app, and the "SkinPal Creators" app that creators connect to through Meta. It explains what we access when you connect an Instagram account, what we do with it, and how to remove it. The SkinPal AI app and skinpalai.app have their own privacy policy.

What we access when you connect

You connect through Meta's own login. Meta shows you the permissions and lets you choose the Instagram account before anything is shared. With the permissions you grant, we can access:

• your Instagram profile: username, name, profile photo, and follower, following and post counts;
• your posts and their metrics: views, reach, likes, comments, saves, shares and interactions;
• account metrics Meta provides, such as reach, views and accounts engaged over time;
• comments on your posts;
• Instagram direct messages in your account's inbox.

Meta also tells us which business portfolio the connection belongs to (its ID). We do not receive your Instagram or Facebook password.

How we use it

• to show your account, posts, metrics, comments and messages to you in your creator dashboard;
• to publish a program post to your account when you choose to publish it;
• to send a comment reply or a message that you write, or that you have agreed the program may send, from your account;
• to count the views of program posts, which is how program payouts are calculated.

What we never do

• We do not sell your data or your followers' data.
• We do not use it for advertising, or to build profiles of you or of the people who comment on or message your account.
• We do not share it with anyone except the service providers that run the program for us: our hosting provider, and the payout provider when you are paid.
• We do not post, comment or message from your account outside what is described above.

How it is stored

The access token Meta issues for your connection is stored only in encrypted form: in a secure, encrypted cookie in your browser, and, once you join a campaign with scheduled posts, encrypted on our servers. Comments and messages are read from Instagram when you open your dashboard and are not kept by us. We keep the view counts of program posts, and records of payouts, for as long as needed to calculate and settle payouts and to meet accounting obligations. This website is hosted by Vercel.

Disconnect and delete your data

• In the dashboard: select Disconnect. This removes the connection from your browser.
• At Meta: remove SkinPal Creators from your business portfolio (Meta Business Suite, Settings, Integrations) or from Instagram (Settings, Website permissions, Apps and websites). This revokes our access.
• Deletion request: email hello@skinpalai.app with the subject "Creator data deletion" and your Instagram username. We delete your creator data within 30 days and confirm by email, except payout records we are required by law to keep.

Who can join

The program is for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly connect accounts of anyone younger.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy we update the date above, and we tell connected creators about material changes by email or in the dashboard. Questions: hello@skinpalai.app. See also the creator terms.
